Life is good right now. Rarely can I honestly say that, so when I have the opportunity, I like to express it. As you may be able to guess, things with John are great. Spent the entire weekend with him and we got some things out in the air. He's leaving for Europe for almost two months at the end of August. If we make it to the end of August, we're going to give it a fair shot. Sucks testicles, yes. Friday night John came to my place for the first time. We went out for Thai food and for drinks with Kelly and came back here for a while. We went for a walk at about midnight and played around at the playground. Saturday he met my parents and we went over to his place where he cooked me another amazing dinner. Kelly came up in the evening to go to a kegger with us. Lame-ass kegger! I think I am to blame for Kelly's adventures that night. I spotted this really cute guy so I sent her over to hit on him so that I wouldn't. Turns out he's in a fancy chef's school in Ottawa and that's where it all went to hell! Haha! Times weren't too bad, I got to meet a lot of his friends, a few of them were really nice guys. After I retrieved Kelly from the alley we made it home. Poor, poor Kelly. Haha! John had a golf tournament in the morning so Kelly and I hung out in his bed for a few hours before she left. I think his brother thinks we're insane. Unfortunately, John's grandfather passed away yesterday and Adam broke this news to him when he got home. He went out in the afternoon with two of his friends, Caroline and Tera, because he wanted to get his mind off of it. We missed the Pride Parade and went shopping, I finally have a guy who shops more than me and doesn't mind to splurge! He took me to this great Italian restaurant for gourmet thin-crust pizza and we went back to his place for a while until Kelly picked me up. Interesting to see how he's going to handle the situation with his grandfather. Well, I'm going to go get dressed, I'm going for dessert over at Kelly's!
I'll Just Keep On Dreaming
"Come to the edge."
"We can't. We're afraid!"
"Come to the edge."
"We can't. We'll fall!"
"Come to the edge."
And they came.
And he pushed them.
And they flew.
-Guillaume Apollinaire
